Hated on two continents
My thanks to Jane Smith for running a review of How Not to Write a Novel: 200 Classic Mistakes and How to Avoid Them by Sandra Newman and Howard Mittelmark.
The review made the book sound good and I felt vauely interested in seeing it, interested enough that I went to look at the book’s website. And then I was really hooked.
Without any doubt, this is the funniest website I have seen in years. You probably wonder how a site that is simply promoting a book can possibly be that funny. All I can say is go along and take a look – and don’t forget to watch the bookfomercial you’ll find there.
Now I definitely want to read the book. I don’t even care if the advice is rubbish (although by all accounts it is excellent.) If the book is half as funny as the website, it will be brilliant.
